Chairman's statement on IRAQ

http://www.proof7.com/p7nyc/images/george%20bush-thumb.jpg

President Bush mentioned that the threat to the United States comes from Iraq. It also says that the acts of Iraqi aggression and terror arsenal. When the Persian Gulf War ended is mentioned that they shouldn't have those weapond and could not get help from terrorist groups rather than that will end completely. It says that Iraq possesses chemical and biological arms and that these are the ones that have violated their obligations. The president said, "the whole world has witnessed the history of defiance, deception and bad faith of eleven years in Iraq." We cannot forget the event of September 11, which affects many families as well as the United States. That's why they decided that the threat would face as they decided to do so with the U.S.

"Members of Congress from both political parties and members of the Security Council of the United Nations agree that Saddam Hussein is a threat to peace and must disarm. We agree that should not be allowed to threaten the Iraqi dictator to the United States and the world with horrible poisons and diseases and gases and atomic weapons. Since all agree on this goal, the question is: What is the best way to achieve it?"

It mentions that there are other countries that have destructive weapons but is a threat and danger to society. In Iraq these weapons are manged by individuals or dangerous murderers who have taken the lives of many people and attacked other nations. At the same time many people wonder if this will continue and the president said toward this, "The danger is already significant and only gets worse with time. If we know Saddam Hussein has dangerous weapons today, and we know it. The fundamental problem with Iraq remains the nature of the regime itself. Saddam is a homicidal dictator who is addicted to weapons of mass destruction." The biggest whis is that all thi will end soon and no more suffering for people lives and future and to bring peace to the United States.

Soldiers Against the War

http://www.ivaw.org/files/images/JAN27DC-004.jpg

Many people are against the Iraq War because they still haven't found any evidence to support the attack made from the United States. Terrorist attacks had growth a lot and also is becoming dangerous for our country. Airports security is now stronger than ever and sometimes you can't carry things that you need. The U.S argues that Iraq is violating the law by having mass destructive weapons but they don't realize that their attack is not reasonable. The invasion toward Iraq is a fraudulent because U.S. military forces are not preventing the violence. American soldiers are the ones who suffer the consequences of this war, the majority has suffered from physical and mental problem and they still keep others in war. Families are not able to spend time with these veterans that are fighting for this country. The percentage of military forces had increase so much and the society wants to stop-loss. There are so much loss in this war like; $5.8 billion per month just wasted on war. This money could be helpful for the state that lost many lives and properties on the Hurricane Katrina, for medical programs, education in school and also the protection of any nature disaster.

Against The War

In my opinion I am against this War in Iraq. It’s been five long years of fighting without a real cause, only lies told by the government. It’s a shame how so many have died for an unjust cause. Bring the men and women home they have families, most of them who are young that have their whole life ahead of them. They are sacrificing their lives for President Bush and his illegal war. This government is corrupt by neo-cons who jus want political power and world dominance. By sending troops over to Iraq just creates more violence rising death tolls.

Instead of “creating a better world”, we should focus inside our own borders and improve our standard of living. How can we call this government democratic when they want power around the world and be stationed around the world as a world police guard. Our men and women suffer, they come back home mentally ill, turn into homeless people, aggressive and have back flashes of what they experience.

This society suffers while politics gain power, we are losing money, we could be using it to create new schools, and create jobs. Like the documentary “Why We Fight”, this war is filled with lies and deceptions. They tell us lies so we can be on the same page as they are but there all myths told to us to keep us like puppets.

A Year After Iraq War

The prevailing view in six of the nine countries surveyed is that the United Nations, not the U.S. and its allies, would do the best job in helping the Iraqi people form a stable government. These are the countries helping the Iraq keep their government stable Germany there about 84%, France 82% and Great Britain. The Muslim country feels that the United States and allies are best to keep the Iraqi government stable. Jordan and Morocco and his pluralities argued that the United States or its allies or the United Nations could keep the Iraq government stable.

The American split along the partisan line over the question that if the united states and its allies and United Nations could keep the government stable, about 45 percent believe that United Nations could do it and about 42 percent believe it was the United States and his allies. Some republicans think that United States could do a better job than the others. In the other hand the democrats believe the united nation could do a better job.

If you look at this graph you will see the different percentage of the that agree with the united states keeping the government in Iraq stable and you can also see the different percentage of the United Nations.

Documentary: Why We Fight?

http://hight3ch.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/WhyWeFight.jpg

“Why We Fight” is a movie directed by Eugene Jareki. The main purpose of the documentary is to reveal the truth behind the Iraqi War. He opens up with how the United States is a powerful and dominant country since World War II. Due to the dominance of military force, we gain so much power and create fear throughout the world. At President Eisenhower Farewell Speech he warned us about a military dominance one day and in this day the United States is strong, influential and most productive in the world.

It’s a timeline from President Eisenhower until now in which President Bush is in office. Dick Cheney stated that the United States shall do anything possible to keep dominance around the world, “any means necessary”. It is our job to defend our title, today the United States spends more then anything on military support.

This war is not about fighting terrorism or making it a better world. But to keep it’s dominance and to gain sources to bring them fortune and to profit off others. Like Eisenhower said in his speech to avoid using “military industrial complex” explaining how not to go overboard with our military. It seems his warning wasn’t good enough and today our President has constantly used that great power to create hatred, and chaos around the world. This film is to prove the lies hidden beneath the title “War In Iraq”, and “Iraqi Freedom”. We are given myths by this government, we are lied by them and basically its all about a politically belief.

American Soldiers

What must be the feeling of these young soldiers maimed who believed in a principle in the lies of their president [George W. Bush] said that they had weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, which were never found. Subsequently the UN inspectors ensured that never existed as they had said and confirmed several times before the US attack on Iraq.

Knowing that this war is nothing but a war for oil. In Iraq, the Iraqi national resistance has been organized in the country to recover independence, sovereignty and especially defend mass killing and regardless of American troops. In the USA equally pacifist movements are becoming more numerous. And remember that this neocolonial war was declared illegal and unjustified by the United Nations.

These shocking images show the human cost in the United States of the barbaric and senseless military occupation of Iraq. Let us not imagine compared to the horror and suffering that must be suffering by the Iraqi people. When he saw the terrible pictures of American soldiers mutilated, which enjoyed an enormous military superiority, leaves us perplexed that the killing must be committed every day in this country. Feature photography updated. Doctors from the US Army to provide first aid to a marine that comes from being injured.

The specialist Jose Martinez 20 years visiting the medical center burned to Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, November 5, 2003. Martinez was caught in a truck carrying ammunition and was attacked by the Iraqi resistance. The truck caught fire destroyed face and several parts of his body.

Invasion in Iraq

The invasion in Iraq started from March 20, to May 2003. The president of United States , George W. Bush prepared 100,000 troop for the invasion of Iraq. He believe that Iraq carried weapons of mass destructive. Bush wanted the end of Saddamn Hussein's terrrorism and " free the Iraqi people". Many leaders argued that this war wasnt justified and that there were no evidence for the invasion. Also, there were many worldwide protest about Iraq War. The United States decided to inspect Iraq if they have mass destructive weapons but the reports shows that there is none. The Americans mentioned that they need to take more time searching for those weapons that they believe Hussein have.

The image of how people see the U.S is different now than before. Many said that they losing their respect. The president Bush had made many policies to make the country more safety from terrorism, 46% believe is working these policies, 17% think that is making U.S less safer and 34% said that the policies are not making any changes at all. The Administration of Bush had tried to remove threat of terrorism from the country the majority of people thinks that there has been a progress in that part. But in the image of U.S, how Arab people see us had not made any changes yet. American citizen had supported the country in military forces. At the same time, in this year a big among of people had dissaprove it too.
